This is a non-tourist area and less crowded, but a very splendid one. This trek takes you to Thulo Sailung (3100 m), its highest elevation, from where you will see a vast Himalayan range from Makalu to Dhaulagiri. In additional, this is the only trek from where you will have a glimpse of Tarai - the lowland of Nepal as well as the world's highest - Mt. Everest. While trekking in this area, we walk high up on spectacular ridges in an area inhabited by Tamangs - an indigenous Buddhists community whose religion is a fusion of Buddhist Lamaism and the Shamanist Bon culture. It is common for a village to have a Lama and a Jhankri (Shaman). Except Tamang, you will encounter with different ethnic people and experience about socio-economic situation, life-style, and their professions. Moreover, the main attraction of this area is, it gives a wide range of exploration to the trekkers. The itinerary can be short and long.
Trip Itierary
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu, transfer to hotel.
Day 02: Full day sightseeing in Kathmandu city (B)
Day 03: Drive to Dhulikhel & Commence trek to Namobuddha. Tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 04: Namobuddha to Khardarpati.tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 05: Khardarpati to Chapakhori.tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 06: Chapakhori to Dovan.tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 07: Dovan to Nagshiva.tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 08: Nagshiva to Gauba Bhanjhyang.tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 09: Gauba Bhanjhyang to Daduwa (Gumba).tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 10: Daduwa to Kharpani.tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 11: Kharpani to Sailung (small).tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 12: Sailung to Thulo Sailung.tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 13: Thulo Sailung to Makai Bari.tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 14: Makai Bari to Kalinchok.tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 15: Kalinchok to Dolakha.tent camp (B.L.D)
Day 16: Dolakha to Charikot & drive back to Kathmandu (B.L)
Day 17: Final departs to your destination. (B)
